What a stay in Dubrovnik costs
In Dubrovnik, accommodation is the biggest cost, and prices depend heavily on the season. According to KAYAK, an average double room costs about €105 a night in February, the cheapest month, and about €505 in July, the most expensive.
A Libertas bus ticket costs €2.50 and a day ticket €5.31. The Platanus shuttle runs from the airport to town for €10 (€15 round trip).
A walk on the City Walls costs €40 and includes Lovrijenac Fortress, and the cable car up Mount Srđ costs €30 round trip. The Stradun and the Old Town lanes are free to explore.
How we estimate
These amounts are estimates built from publicly available prices: average accommodation prices for the month and typical daily spending on food, public transport and attractions. For months where we found no data, we filled in our own estimate. Actual prices depend on your dates and where you stay.
For children up to 12 we assume 60% of an adult's food cost and 50% of an adult's attractions cost. At budget and standard level we price families with children an apartment or family room for up to four people; at luxury level one room takes two adults and one child. These are our assumptions. The luxury level has no upper limit, so we show a “from” amount.
