Privacy policy

In short: this site does not collect data about you. No cookies, no advertising trackers, no accounts. We only count visits, anonymously.

No cookies

The site does not store any cookies, which is why there is no consent banner.

Anonymous statistics, no tracking

We count visits with Umami, an open-source tool running on our own server. It uses no cookies and does not store your IP address. It records the page address, the page you came from, the type of browser, system and device, screen size, language, country and clicks on some links and buttons. When you search for a place we don't have yet, we record the search text itself (up to 40 characters), so we know which destinations to add. It cannot recognise you on your next visit or on other sites, and we share the data with no one. There are no advertising pixels or third-party scripts here.

Two notes in your browser

Your browser remembers the theme you chose (day or night) and, until you close the tab, that you closed the small ad card. This stays on your device and says nothing about who you are.

Server logs

Like every web server, ours records technical details of each request: IP address, time, page address and browser type. They are used only to keep the site secure and running, and are not combined with anything else. The server is operated by Scaleway in France.

Email

If you write to us, your address and message are used only to reply.

Links to other sites

Links to social media, travel guides, booking services (Booking.com, GetYourGuide, KioskPolis) and the other language version open other services, which have their own privacy rules. Some of them are affiliate links: if you book through them, we may earn a commission. Nothing is loaded from them until you click.

Who is responsible for the site

The site is run by a company that is also the data controller under the GDPR:

Bobrowski Media
136 Avenue Maurice Donat
06700 Saint-Laurent-du-Var, France
registered in France, SIREN 908 602 071

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. We handle server logs and email on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): running a secure site and replying to messages.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: CNIL (opens in a new tab), UODO (opens in a new tab).

If the site starts collecting anything more, this policy will be updated first.
